He's found a stone that was suitable enough for the task with his earlier activity of building a stone oven for Ciel's stupid fattydingdongs cake, so he's take the opportunity to sharpen the knives. There are twelve neatly laid out, though they're all silverware knives, which doesn't seem promising... Though to a discerning eye, it's clear that they're very sharp and very strong. These aren't the sort of silverware knives that would snap in combat.

When he looks up, it's with a smile, and Sebastian stands from where he had been sitting to give him an ever polite bow. ]

Ah, Mr. Suzuya— Welcome. It is good to see you again.

[ He's ridiculously polite, if nothing else... ]

I thought I would at least sharpen them up for you before I lent them. It would be a rude of me otherwise.

_{[The look Sebastian gets is one of that akin to a kid in a sweets shop (you've probably seen it on your fattydingdongs young master's face when he thinks you're not looking). There's even cooing to accompany it as he wastes no time getting a closer look at the cutlery laid out. If there's something Juuzou's learned well it's that as long as something has a sharp edge it can be used as a weapon. The knives may not look all that impressive but he sees their potential. If they're sharp in his hands they'll be as deadly as any bullet would be.]}

[ Normally, that look would be treated with some level of annoyance, but with this, well. This is a pride and joy of Sebastian's, so he's pleased enough to speak, even if it's mostly to himself... ]

I am glad that they look acceptable. The silverware of the Phantomhive family is truly up to standards, so these are generally what I rely on. The blades are quite fine, so they are excellent for cutting a rare steak or a Neraki's thick skin. The handles are specially crafted to be easily wielded as either a projectile or a traditional dagger, and they should be able to withstand a significant amount of force.

[ It would be embarrassing, but Juuzou is probably appreciative of the information. When two freaks collide, this happens, I guess. ]

I have a set of twelve, so four in each hand is better suited to how I would use them regardless. I hope that these four will serve you well.

_{[As Sebastian goes on about the silverware Juuzou can't help but nod, somewhat excitedly. If the butler wasn't lying about their durability then he'd be more than happy to have them. He'd rather have more than just four of course, but four was better than two or worse, just one.]}

Mm, I'm sure they will. Guns are great and all but nothing beats a sharp blade.

Quite. I dislike firearms since their accuracy tends to be so poor, but—

[ Sebastian laughs lightly as he shrugs. ]

That has admittedly changed quite a bit as compared to what I am used to! By now, they are quite accurate, so I suppose I could switch... Knives still feel better in one's hands, though.

_{[Sure, guns were handy, but there was just something about having complete and utter control over where the knife would pierce that made guns pale in comparison, at least when they were in his hands. There is one peculiar thing about Sebastian's words though that cause Juuzou to pause, somewhat curious.]}

Oh, quite a bit older machinery, to put it simply. The accuracy of the pistols I am used to is truly pitiful, so it is not worth using them. They miss nearly half of the time.

[ Sebastian shrugs dismissively, and it comes with an idle wave of his hand as if it isn't a very interesting subject. It really isn't, after all, because— ]

Well, regardless, guns are not very interesting, since they are also little more than toys to me.

_{[Well, that sounded pretty pathetic. At least the guns the CCG had at their disposal had been decent when it came to aim and firepower. At Sebastian's next comment Juuzou can't help but nod in agreement.]}

[ He sighs lightly as he nods, though it's a tired sort of sigh more than anything, which is... not exactly fitting. ]

Quite... I understand why humans make them, since it suits them well, but all the same, it creates a pitiable distance. Ah, well. Getting into philosophy is not my intent here.

[ He waves his hand at Juuzou lightly. ]

_{[There's a nod that accompanies a small, lopsided smile. Oh he'll enjoy Sebastian, don't you worry. There's a glance toward the knives the butler is finishing up sharpening, akin to that of a kid in a candy store.]}

[ I totally didn't forget that he was still sharpening them what are you talking about... ]

[ He nods lightly, and perfectly on cue, he stops his work to hold up the last blade, looking at it with a critical eye for a moment. But seemingly satisfied, he nods, then setting it with the others, offers the knives for him to take. ]

Just finished. How do they look?

Sharp.

_{[There's no hesitation when he goes to pick them up off the table, weighing one in hand separately from the others. It feels good in his hand and it only takes him a moment longer to start tossing the blades in the air, juggling them with ease, spinning them playfully between his fingers. He decides to pick a tree as his target, not far off from either of them and in the blink of an eye he sends all four flying toward its trunk, each hitting their mark in a vertical straight line one after the other.]}

They're great!

[ Sebastian watches his work with an intensity in his gaze that's much more than just casual, but it's interested. It's easy to see that he had guessed correctly about giving the excess knives away, since they're in quite capable hands. It's not so impressive to do such a feat himself, since it was simple for a demon, but for a human? He's actually rather impressed, and it gets Sebastian to smile, clearly pleased with the display. ]

Very good! It seems you will use them very well, so I am glad they are in your hands.
